A man has been arrested after threatening to rape a woman’s spouse in his yoga class.

The incident happened in the remote northern town of Cairns.
The woman told police she had attended a yoga class with the man and his wife.
She said she did not know who the man was and the two were not in the class together.
“It was an informal class and the woman had just finished her class and was walking out of the door when she heard him shout, ‘What are you doing?'”
Detective Inspector Mark Scott told the ABC.
“The woman was surprised to hear what he was saying and he told her he was going to rape her and put her in an ambulance.”
Police said a male student was present at the class.
The man is due to appear in the Cairn Magistrates Court on Thursday.
