The NRA’s new training tool is supposed to give instructors the ability to track their students’ progress in shooting and their ability to make timely corrections.
But, as of Friday, the NRA’s training tools are no longer open to instructors on campus and on the National Guard’s website.
The change has prompted a slew of complaints from faculty members at schools including Florida State University, where instructors are asked to log in to their classes, as well as other schools across the country.
In a statement to The Associated Press, the National Rifle Association of America said:”The NRA has received numerous complaints from our instructors regarding their inability to access their classrooms and to correct errors in shooting data.
We have determined that the best way to address these concerns is to have the Corner Login available to instructors and to allow them to track the progress of their students, and the ability for them to correct their errors.
In an effort to ensure that the Corner login remains open, the NRA is working with the U.S. Department of Education to review existing rules, and will provide any updates as they become available.
We look forward to providing an update in the near future.”
